Alessia Ortu (Architect | Politecnico di Milano)

Architect, she is a Research Fellow at the ABC Department and teaching assistant of Architecture Technology at the Scuola di Architettura Urbanistica Ingegneria delle Costruzioni of the Politecnico di Milano. She graduated in Architecture and Urban Design at Politecnico di Milano (with a thesis on Sport Infrastructure) and she attended the Master in Sport Design and Management at Politecnico di Milano. She carries out research activities in the field of Sports infrastructures, concerning processes, methods, and tools for urban regeneration.
In 2022 she collaborated with UEFA in the drafting of the dossier “Rail Seating Assessment. Independent and in-depth analysis of the Rail Seating Technology and its Pros and Cons”. Since 2022 he has been collaborating with FIGC in the drafting of the BID Dossier for Italy to host the UEFA EURO 2032 tournament and the BID Dossier for the city of Milan to host the UEFA Champions League Final in 2026&2027.
